Work 'n Work

Been busy for everything on these few days, for internship application, for assignments, for discussions, for shopping and watching movie or blogging here(lmao!) I feel like this is the most fulfilling moment I ever had. Although this is a bit tiring to only sleep 5 hours in average catching up all the things at once, I'm so blessed that everything seems back on the track when everyone gets serious onto something. I must admit that there are sometimes quarrels or arguments happen between my friends or group members, but still fine, they argue but they care, this is an attitude everyone should have. In short, it may be odd sometimes but tremendous most of the time.

And I miss my family here since my one-month-ago homecoming, hope they're doing fine. Miss ya'll.

Born To Try

I was looking for "Born to try" by Delta Goodrem to set as my background music in here. I have surprisingly found one, a mix version, this version is much better, I love how it starts with piano then fading in the effects after first verse.

This song brings a lot of memories of being at Cameron Highlands last CNY, because I kept listening to this song in CH. That is why I often say, music is not only music, there are memories and emotions. For me, music is one of the wonders of the world, the 8th wonder. How glad am I knowing music, it's a gift.

Opposition is all around, what matters me?

There would be a wonderful world to love with when,
1. I see hopes in life.
2. I have another chance to make up all the regrets.
3. I'm sad but having friends to turn to and tell me that I'm his/her best friend, faithfully.
4. this world is always along with the sound of music.
5. people feel what I feel.
6. somebody wholeheartedly sings a song for me.
7. my family is always be with me.
8. I could do everything I love in everyday.
9. there's no war.
10. there's no more lie.

There would be my suckest life to live in when,
1. I know somebody betrays me.
2. I lose my faith by only listening what people say but not what I think about myself.
3. I lose my voice.
4. people makes jokes on me.
5. I know somebody's being dishonest to me.
6. I lose my family.
7. I lose my friends.
8. there's any misconception.
9. I lose my direction.
10. nobody's gonna listen to how I feel.

Faker and Liar,you go away!

I've got a strong feeling of hatred in me today, my sixth sense tells me that I'm going to be cheated so soon. You know what, although I'm no-big-deal that kinda person but everyone has his/her bottom line or limitation of standing something over.

For me, I definitely can't stand a liar neither a faker, and don't even mentioning if you're actually sharing a conspiracy. Most in count, when you got into trouble and you'd rather giving a lie to the people surroundings to entertain a single people. It's most sounded like a guy lends all your money to buy a Porsche in order to entertain his girlfriend... No, sorry! As friend, this is a big no-no to me. I mean it's too sad if this is so-called "friendship" in your life. You're damn naive and too silly with the games like this, you're too over your own head! You swanky, selfishly monster!

For the friends out there, being honest is never a nerdy act, it even pulls you through everything. While being a liar is never cool, you'll not only lose your faith but the world and your trustworthiness and most importantly your friends surrounding you. Being a liar is equivalent to a real loser.

For the liars out there, I cross my fingers for what you've done, I'm pretty sure you're gonna pay for that badly.

I'm true pissed off with the liars today.

Inilah baru dipanggil "servis"...

I just subscribed P1 W1Max broadband service 2 days ago, the speed is like "wow", super fast. I didn't even need to wait for my youtube loading, I can directly watch the clips right away I click them, and the average download speed is like 120kb/s and sometimes reach up to 200kb/s. This is the internet connection speed that I always look for.

But too bad, I can't access to the internet right now with W1Max, so I got back to my iZZi. Lord! It's a huge difference!

After that, I emailed P1 to complain about the disconnection at 3:37pm. Guess what, at 3:47pm, a P1 assistant called me to reply regarding the complaint. He explained to me that Section 17 is a newly added coverage area, it may take a week or two to stabilize the connection. The way the assistant speak and respond was so polite, I was so shocked and happy with the service P1 provided though I can't still access to the internet now, but the customer service pays off. This is somewhat the service that has been long missing in Malaysia. It's hardly not to praise the service like this one, I'm so impressed, especially being in here where citizen's confidence has totally gone since the age of dinosaur.

Thanks P1, for returning citizen of Malaysia confidence. Hopefully my connection will be recovering soon.

Possession

It was a great day last night listening 32 contestants singing in UTAR Idol semi-final. As one of the judges, I'm so grateful for this, thanks for having me as a judge, this is the very first time and might be only once in a lifetime. I did really enjoy every single minute I was having up there, I felt like the contestants were actually and specially sung to me, I got moved with the passion. That's the word called "connection". And for you guys out there, please don't stop singing. God is great but sometimes life ain't good, so keep on singing what you love to sing.

Today is Valentine's day, nothing special as previous years. But I'd love to make it as Friendship's day, what Valentine's day all about rather than couple dinner is when all the bachelors and bachelorettes could have fun together. It's not a bad idea, indeed.

From now on, please call me Steve and Steve is gonna get you. Lol!
Keeps gettin' better...

The Sound Of Music

If you love music, watching 1965 musical movie "The Sound of Music" is a must, starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer. With its simple plot, and happy-ever-after ending, it's hardly not to get touched and connect your emotions to the movie and the songs.

The story is about Maria (Julie Andrews) who's going to be a nun, but she's falling miserably in her attempts to become a nun because she's a rules breaker, she has her own way to face the world, she loves music. For god's sake, Maria is then sent to the Navy Captain Georg Von Trapp's (Christopher Plummer) family to be a governess to take care of his 7 children who's already lost their mother. Maria has completely changed the way Captain Georg manages his family, she brought back the music to the family, teaching the children how to sing is the best part of all. Relationship between father Captain Georg and the children becomes better and closer through music, and eventually Maria and Captain Georg find themselves falling in love, though Georg is already engaged to a Baroness. The romance makes the story even more complete, and predictably, they are married. But their happiness is then threatened when Austria is about to come under the control of Germany, and the Captain may soon draft himself into the German navy and forced to fight against his own country. The story ends with the family is trying to escape to the other part of world.

Not only the plot of the story that magnificent, but also the lyric of the song enlightens me some precious lessons.

1. I Have Confidence by Julie Andrews
"And mind me with each step I am more certain, everything will turn out fine. I have confidence the world can all be mine, they'll have to agree I have confidence in me..."

- This tells me to be myself, be confident in everything I have.

2. My Favourite Things by Julie Andrews
"When the dog bites, when the bee stings, when I'm feeling sad, I simply remember my favourite things and then I don't feel so bad..."

- This tells me to recall all my good stuff and memories when I'm feeling down. That's just the way it is, you can do nothing.

3. Do-Re-Mi by Julie Andrews and the children
"Doe, a deer, a female deer
Ray, a drop of golden sun
Me, a name I call myself
Far, a long, long way to run
Sew, a needle pulling thread
La, a note to follow Sew
Tea, a drink with jam and bread
That will bring us back to Do (Oh,oh,oh)..."

- This is simply bravo. I really admire the people who wrote this.

4. The Lonely Goatherd by Julie Andrews and the children
"O ho lay dee odl lee o, o ho lay dee odl ay, O ho lay dee odl lee o, lay dee odl lee o lay..."

- This one showcases the exchange of the voice of falsetto and full voice. Surprisingly great.

5. So Long Farewell by The children
"There's a sad sort of clanging from the clock in the hall, and the bells in the steeple too, and up in the nursery an absurd little bird is popping out to say cuckoo..cuckoo..."

- Scene of this part is so warm. I nearly cry for this one, the children sang this so innocently. That is why the word "it's hard to say bye bye" is said.

6. "Climb Ev'ry Mountain by Mother Abbess
"Climb ev'ry mountain, search high and low, follow ev'ry by-way, every path you know...Climb ev'ry mountain, ford ev'ry stream, follow ev'ry rainbow, 'till you find your dream..."

- "Finding your dream is just like climbing every mountain", what a good description.

"The Sound Of Music" is a 5-star musical movie. It brings your love towards music from the beginning till the end. And surprisingly, it has already being with us for almost a half century and has its impact with us for forever, hopefully.

A brilliant CNY, a brilliant START

I used to hate Chinese New Year. I hate going back to my grandpa's old house, and I do hate CNY celebration songs except those very olden ones like Zhou Xuan's and Lin Dai's type of age. But CNY this year has changed my mind a little bit, I began to love it. I figured out all my relatives and friends have turned to be more lovable, and I've spent more time to keep my eyes on my relatives and friends, they're lovely.

I'm not gonna forget this CNY, one is negative because my Cameron Highlands trip for this CNY was canceled cause of the stupid broken car. I was so sad for quite a long time, CH is my all-time fave place to go in CNY, I love the weather, I love the cactus and plants, I love everything in CH. Too bad! Another is positive because my family and I had so much fun on another trip in Malacca, it's become my another fave place to go. I met my NS friend Ah Song in Mahkota Parade, but Andrew and Mantou were not around. A little disappointed. Malacca has changed a lot, more places to hang out than 3 years ago. I love Malacca River Cruise, I love Jonker Walk, I love Dataran Pahlawan, I love Eye on Malaysia(though I didn't take a ride on it), I miss the little girl I met in the double-decker bus. I love Malacca, I can't wait to go back again.

Brand new Menara Taming Sari and Eye on Malaysia in Malacca.

Eye on Malacca@Malaysia.

Somewhere nearby Eye on Malaysia. I love this scene.

A little girl I met in the Double-Decker sightseeing bus. She's so cute, she can imitate whatever I act.

I never knew Malacca River Cruise can be like this beautiful at night. It looks like Clarke Quay in Singapore.

And hey, guess what. I've uploaded all the other photos that I think is great at Flickr. Please click here to see more and always get back to my Flickr's album.

Today is the 8th day of the New Lunar Year, 7 days to go Chap Goh Mei. Wish everything is going to be well in the coming days. 2009, love ya!
